The 12th International Congress of Parkinson's Disease and Movement DisordersのOpening Symposiumとして、Infusion therapy and surgery for Parkinson's diseaseがありました。Apomorphineやlevodopaの注射はそのうち日本にも入ってくるのでしょうね。
Emory UniversityのRobert E. Gross先生からは、"Deep brain stimulation-Exploring new target"という題で、STN-DBSの次のターゲットのお話がありました。精神症状などのSTN-DBSの限界があり、GPiの見直し、PPNやZi、CMなどのtrialが紹介されました。
